How to Book - PAT Testing Courses from PAT Testing Expert

On-Line - Have a look at our latest dates then click on 'Book Now' to go straight to our on-line booking system. You can pay by credit card using our SSL secure payment system. We accept all major credit cards and you can also pay with your PayPal account if you have one. There is no need to send us the booking form if you book and pay online.

By Phone - Call us on 01482 827744 for more details. We can take a payment over the phone, or you can reserve a space for payment after the course, subject to status and availability.

What's the latest we can make a booking?
You can make an on-line booking right up to the day of the course - if the website is showing 'Available' then we have space, and we will be able to accommodate you. You should however make a booking before you set off so we are expecting you. If the website shows 'Course Full' then please book for a later date. This is especially important in the Covid-19 pandemic, as we are restricting the maximum number of people on each date due to social distancing.

How much does it cost?
The normal price for the course is £245.00 + VAT per person - this includes all the tuition, certification, course materials and documentation, as well as lunch and refreshments. There is a £50.00 pre-payment discount (making the cost £195.00 per person) if you book and pay online, or if you send a cheque with the booking form.

What is the cheapest way to book?
If you book and pay online, the pre-payment discount applies and the cost is £195.00 + VAT per person. You can also print off the booking form and send it to us with a cheque to get the course at the same price. Sometimes we offer special promotions for specific dates, although these relate to specific dates.

Can you invoice us after the course?
Yes, subject to status, of course. We will automatically grant credit facilities to government departments, including schools and colleges, as well as large companies and charitable organisations. Obviously, if we invoice you after the course has taken place you will not be entitled to the pre-payment discount, and each space will be charged at the normal price of £245.00 per person. We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue accounts.

We can't pay by credit card, we need to pay by invoice but want to still get the pre-payment discount. Is this possible?
We can do this too. It's called a 'pro-forma invoice' which we can send out now, on the condition that we receive payment before the course is due. You can either pay us by BACs, cheque or via our online payment portal. However, in the event that the payment is still outstanding by the time the course takes place, then the pre-payment discount will no longer apply and we'll issue an invoice for the balance.

What happens if we pay in advance and then the course is cancelled?
Full details of our cancellation policy are available on our terms and conditions page, Prior to the Covid-19 pandemic we'd only cancelled 2 courses due to illness in more than 20 years of training. Obviously we are living in different times now, but we are working very hard to make sure that we only organise events once we know that they will go ahead. If we are forced to cancel a scheduled training course due to local or national lockdowns, then of course you will be entitled to a full refund, but we will reschedule the date as soon as we're able.

What happens if we pay in advance but then I can't attend due to self-isolating?
Full details of our cancellation policy are available on our terms and conditions page. At the present time we are running our events with very tightly restricted numbers, due to social distancing. This obviously has a big effect on the profitability of our courses. If you book a space but then don't turn up, you'll be taking a space which might have been taken by someone else. However, if you need to self-isolate then of course you should not come to the course. Please contact us at the earliest opportunity and we will do our best to resell the space, and we'll get you booked onto a later date. We'll do our best to help you as much as we can in these difficult times.

Each workshop will begin at 9:45 and finish at 4:30. Aim to arrive about 9:30 - you’ll be greeted with a cup of tea or coffee! Joining instructions and travel details will be sent to you before the event.

Full joining information, including maps and directions, will be sent to you when your booking is confirmed, but you can call us for more information if you have any queries about the courses in the meantime!

The course fee includes tuition, all course materials as well as lunch and refreshments. Please let us know when making your booking if you have any special dietary requirements - but note that we always make provision for a normal vegetarian diet at our training events.
