We've been in the business for more than 30 years, and have condensed all of that experience and knowledge into a one-day course which is accesible to anyone wanting to learn how to carry out this vital health and safety task. This course is taught by our founder and MD, Tim James, who is regarded as one of the UK's leading experts in the field - not some un-named 'instructor' but someone who has been doing this all of his working life!
Our PAT Testing training course is certificated, and we provide all of the materials and equipment for the course. However, if you have already purchased a PAT tester you are welcome to bring it with with you - we'll show you how to get the best from it. Otherwise we'll give you unbiased information about the best machines to buy - don't buy one especially for the course!
You will receive a certificate of competence on the day, and you will be able to PAT Test your own equipment after the course, or else provide a PAT Testing service to other people if you wish too!
Lunch and refreshments are provided during the day, and are included in the course fee! Please note that we do limit the number of people on each date to ensure that everybody benefits. Courses often fill up - Book now to reserve your space!
The course includes a mix of practical and theory, so you can practice straight away, and we give you the skills to carry out PAT testing with confidence once you have attended the course. Our course is not a lecture, but a practical based course which gives you vital experience in the subject. We limit the numbers on the course to ensure that everybody benefits from the day.
You don't need prior experience of electricity - and you certainly don't need to be a qualified electrician to carry out PAT Testing. Our course starts right at the beginning.
