We run regular training courses the Hilton Utilita Bowl in Southampton - located 20 minutes from Southampton city centre. The venue is easy to get to by car and free parking is available on site. This Hilton hotel is located at the Utilita Bowl cricket ground - formerly know as the Ageas Bowl.

Our course is certificated - which means you'll get a certificate of competence on completion. There is no exam on the course, but a long practical session throughout the day to ensure everybody learns the required information. We always limit the number of people attending, and our courses often sell out.

Course Highlights

• Certficated training - There is no 'exam' as such on the course, but there is a LOT of practical! Get your hands on the machines, and test a variety of appliances under supervision; making sure you are competent to put into practice what you've learned on the day.

• Fully updated with the 5th edition Code of Practice (Tim James wrote most of the technical content in the CoP) and the new British Standars BS EN 50699 and BS EN 50678

Our trainer, TIM JAMES has been teaching people to carry out PAT Testing since 1993, and has been involved in the business for much longer - he's widely regarded as one of the UK's leading experts in the field. This PAT Testing course is not a lecture, but a practical based training workshop, designed for you to be able to test equipment in the REAL WORLD. Learn what you need to, in a relaxed and comfortable environment, then put it in to practice straight away with a series of practical exercises. There is no exam on our course, but a closely supervised practical session to ensure everyone benefits from the training, and everybody learns the required skills. Over the years we've run hundreds of courses, and trained people from the BBC, Shell, Rentokil, Ikea, Channel 4 TV, many schools, colleges, universities and businesses large and small.

BOOK ONLINE TODAY and pay just £225.00 + VAT per person. Our normal price is £275.00 + VAT per person, but online bookings will automatically receive a £50.00 per person pre-payment discount. You can also claim the pre-payment discount by sending a cheque with the booking form. We can invoice you after the course (subject to status) at the normal price.
