We also teach the course based on common sense, rather than bogging you down with lots of detail about electrical theory or the legal requirements. PAT Testing is mainly about common sense, and you do not need loads of prior knowledge to get started you certainly DON'T need to be a qualified electrician to carry out PAT Testing. In fact, all you need is a willingness to learn, and some common sense.

Our PAT Testing courses in Manchester are now held at the Victoria and Albert Hotel in central Manchester. The hotel is just off Deansgate, close to Spinningfields in the central shopping and entertainment area of Manchester. There is parking on-site, although it is very limited, but there are NCP carparks nearby. Of course, access by public transport is very easy - both Manchester Victoria and Picadilly railway stations are a few minutes taxi ride (or about 15 minutes walk) away.

You are welcome to bring your own PAT Tester with you on the day, or you can use ours! We always have a selection of industry standard PAT Testers for you to use on the day, and we can give you unbiased advice on which are the best machines to purchase.
